Pink Wednesday: Essie Miami Nice
Sorry about the late post, today has been pretty busy for me. I’m finally joining the Pink Wednesday bandwagon! I think this will be a nice break from hardcore swatching and it will force me to come out of my polish comfort zone since I hardly ever wear pink nail polish.
Today I’ve got Miami Nice by Essie to show you all. I bought this one a few months back and I believe it’s part of the retail exclusive line carried by Target, Walmart and various drugstores. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
I used CND Sticky/Seche Vite as my base and top coat combo.
Miami Nice is an iridescent hot reddish-pink hue with a violet flash. The formula on this one was fantastic. It was squishy, like a cross between a jelly and a creme, and very well pigmented. Two coats would be perfectly acceptable for this, I used three just to get rid of a barely noticeable VNL (visible nail line).
I love this color, when I first bought it I used it for a pedicure and I was quite pleased. I think this will be a fun shade to have for the summer months.
Essie has two lines of polish. They have the retail line, where you can find Miami Nice and others for about $8.00/each at your local Walmart, Target, CVS, etc. Then they have the salon line, initially the only Essie line, that has a wider variety of colors but can only be purchased through salons that carry the brand or via e-tailers like NailSupplies.us and Head2ToeBeauty.com
