Layering Experiment No. 4 – Little No Name Sally
The title of this entry sounds like it should be a children’s book, yes/no? Anyway, today I’ve got another polish I acquired during a yard sale (1 of 13 — it was a good sale!). This is a Sally Hansen polish that sadly has no name that I could find. It’s also a mini and the itty bitty rectangular bottle is so adorably tiny! The polish is quite sheer and even after three coats never reaches the green opalescent color shown in the bottle. But layered over black… Now we’re talkin’! 😉
All swatches are with Essie Fill The Gap base coat and Seche Vite top coat.
Sally Hansen Mini – Green No Name
On my index finger I’m wearing three coats of the Sally Hansen mini. On the rest of my digits I’m wearing one coat of Sally Hansen Black Out with one coat of the green Sally Hansen polish layered over it. It takes on this gorgeous emerald colored hue! This has a pearl finish so you can see a few brush strokes here and there, but nothing too horrible.
A closer look. The color on its own is still very pretty, but personally I think this baby was made for layering. This polish is definitely going to be on the contenders list for next St. Patty’s Day. ^_^
Well that’s all I have to show you for now. I’m quite speechless that my little blog that is only a month and a half old already has 50 FOLLOWERS!! 😀 I’d like to use this opportunity to thank each and every one of you that takes time out of your day to view my little space on the internet. It really means a lot to me, because without all of you I would be talking to myself. 😉
