Nubar Reclaim – Swatches & Review
Today I’ve got a polish I’ve had in my stash for quite some time now, but I’m just getting around to trying it. I have no clue why it took me so long to use this stunning green holographic, but now that I have I think it will be making numerous appearances on my nails. 😛
All swatches are done without basecoat or topcoat.
Nubar Reclaim is a medium green holographic with a linear effect. It was originally released as part of Nubar’s Going Green Collection. Even in low light you can still pick out the prismatic effect on this one. This is two coats.
I had no application issues with Reclaim. The brush was pliable and the polish was smooth and easy to spread across my nails. And man does it dry glossy, this is with no top coat folks! 😀
I will have to re-apply this one with a base and top coat to see if the ease of application and the holographic effect are modified in any way. I will certainly update everyone on this post if there are any changes.
Now that I own Reclaim I can see why so many people are fans of this lovely green polish. In my experience, most linear holographic lacquers are tricky and generally apply in a patchy mess. With Reclaim I did not have this issue. Not to mention the fact that I am a sucker for green polishes in general, it’s my favorite color! Reclaim is limited edition, so I would definitely suggest you make it a part of your collection before it becomes hard to find!
You can purchase Reclaim and other Nubar polishes on their official website. Nubar polishes retail for $7.49/each for a .5oz bottle.
