China Glaze - TMI

Hello!

Today for Pink Wednesday I have my one and only polish from the much loved China Glaze OMG Collection to share with you all. TMI is a gorgeous warm pink coral with a linear holographic prism effect. Some day both the Kaleidoscope and OMG collections will be mine. Oh yes, they will be mine…

I used 2 coats of polish and Essie Fill The Gap as my base. I wanted to see how much a top coat would dull the holo effect so each swatch has Seche Vite only on my index and ring fingers, my middle and pinky finger have no top coat. But enough of my chatter, I’ll let the pictures speak for me. :-D

TMI has a semi-matte finish to it when it dries. My pointer and ring finger appear a little glossier because I’m wearing my top coat on those those two fingers. This picture was taken indoors with natural light. The rest of the pictures will be indoors and under my camera flash to so you can better view the holographic effect. The sun was not cooperating with me the day I photographed this polish. :-(

I don’t think that the top coat made very much of a difference to the holographic effect, which is nice to know because I fear this would chip like crazy without a top coat on.

TMI definitely does not have as strong of a holo effect as Nfu Oh 65, but it is still a lovely nail polish. Along with yellows and oranges I think I’ll have to add coral colored nail polish to my list of “Must-Haves” for the summer. ^_^

Sadly the OMG Collection has long been discontinued and polishes from this collection are generally only found on ebay or through “dusty hunting”** if you’re really lucky. I hope everyone has a great day! Mine is already starting out well because I’m off from work for the next four days!! :-)

**Dusty Hunting: shopping stores, salons, and beauty supply places in search of long ago discontinued/hard to find nail polishes. Some of which may be so old and neglected that they have collected dust, hence the name. I have found a few great polishes this way. :-P
