NOTD: Lancome – Indigo Paris
I know, I know… Another evening post, hehe. I’ve been very nocturnal during my days off this week so night-time has been a more productive part of the day for me. Continuing with the Black ‘n’ Blue theme this week I’ve got my absolute favorite blue polish to share with you. Friends, I’d like to introduce you to Indigo Paris by Lancôme.
All swatches today are done with Seche Vite top coat and Sally Hansen Nail Quencher base coat.
Indigo Paris is a deep sapphire blue with a metallic shimmery finish. There is so much going on with this polish and it’s alllllll good. The formula on this one is quite thin so you have to be a little careful with application or it will try to invade your cuticles. What’s nice about this blue is that it does not stain, so if you do have to clean up after application it will be a quick and easy fix.
Really you guys, photos do not do this polish justice. It positively GLOWS on my nails, I feel like I could get into a car accident from staring at my fingers while driving when I wear Indigo Paris.
Honestly I really don’t have a lot of commentary for this one, I just like showing you all Indigo Paris from every. possible. angle. It’s absolute perfection on my nails in just two simple coats of polish.
Final thoughts? I love it and I wish I had two bottles of it. I have yet to find another polish with this much depth of color and shimmer that can compare to Indigo Paris, and I wish it were still readily available.
Indigo Paris was originally released in 2009 by Lancôme as a limited edition polish, so sadly it is no longer available on their website. It occasionally pops up on ebay so you may be able to snag one from there if you’re lucky.
