NYX Girls – Deep Space (swatches & review)
Morning!
Today I’ve got my first NYX polish to show you all, this one is called Deep Space. It’s a dark brown jelly filled with purple, gold, blue and mauve colored irregular flaky glitter. You all know how I feel about flakies.
Seche Vite top coat and Sally Hansen Nail Quencher base coat were used for these swatches. Clicking any of the pictures will bring you to the original giant-sized version of each photo (hint: do this with the macro shot!).
Deep Space
Deep Space is quite sheer, so I needed four layers to reach the opacity I preferred. I like this one a lot! It’s my first brown jelly and the multi-colored flakies are quite spectacular when seen in person. I think next time I wear this one I’ll try layering it with a brown creme. ![]()
Here’s a close up of this beauty. Click the picture to see the ‘super sized’ version for maximum flakie viewing.
Final Thoughts:
This was my first experience with NYX and I quite enjoyed it. Deep Space is rather unique and I’m quite happy that it’s a part of my stash. The price point for NYX and NYX Girls polishes is very affordable and they have a TON of colors to choose from, so I certainly plan on adding more to my collection in the future.
