A-England Guinevere (swatches & review)
We’re so close to Friday people, just one more day until the weekend! I found out spectacular news yesterday, my boyfriend doesn’t have to move to Arizona! Through a stroke of random luck he ended up getting an apprenticeship where we currently live, doing exactly what he planned on studying in school. So everyone’s a winner! I think we’re still going to visit AZ this winter to get away from the snow though. ^_^
Today I’ve got another polish from A-England’s The Mythicals collection. This time we’ll get a look at Guinevere, a lovely dusty lavender creme. I used Seche Vite top coat and Sally Hansen Nail Quencher base coat for all swatches shown here.
As previously mentioned, A-England Guinevere is a lovely dusty lavender creme. Just like all other A-England polishes I’ve tried, the application and formula was flawless. This is two thin easy and creamy coats. I will say that the polish appeared a tad bit darker on my nails than it was in the bottle, but it’s still a lovely shade.
Here’s a few photos I took with my camera flash. The grey undertones leave Guinevere and you’re left with a beautiful lilac hue.
A-England is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands of polish. They are a 3-free and cruelty free brand, and the quality of the polishes I’ve had the chance to try are top notch. At first I wasn’t too sure about Guinevere because it almost borders on pastel against my skintone (a recipe for Ultra Mega Lobster Hands), but after wearing it for a day I realized that I loved it. ^_^ I’ll be adding Guinevere to my list of favorites. <3
You can take any polish from The Mythicals collection home by visiting the A-England official website at www.a-england.co.uk, they retail at £9.00 per 13ml bottle of polish and free international shipping is offered. A-England polishes can also be purchased for $12.00/ea through their US stockist, llarowe, and she does offer worldwide shipping (although Italy is currently excluded).
