Finger Paints: Fall Fashionista Collection Fall 2011
Good Morning Everyone!
The Finger Paints Fall Fashionista collection of polishes are all cremes, not a shimmer or frost in the bunch! I still want to get my hands on Military Green but for now I have my two favorites from the collection to share with you, Cordur-Orange and Catwalk Queen.
Please ignore the wonky/missing letters on the bottles, the packaging that these two were wrapped in ate some of the ink off the bottles! But the polish itself was safe and sound so that’s all that really matters. 😛
Cordur-Orange is basically THE perfect fall burnt-orange creme and my favorite polish from this collection! It’s not quite pumpkin spice, but it’s also not neon. It falls somewhere between that spectrum and I’m head over heals in love with it. The boyfriend really liked this one a lot too. I know a polish is on point when the man-friend voluntarily voices an opinion, especially when he requests that I wear a certain color after I’m done swatching! 😛
Want to hear more great things about Cordur-Orange? This is ONE COAT!!! I had a tiny bit of bubbling on my middle finger, but that was definitely my fault for being too hasty with my top-coat. 😀
And now we get to look at my second favorite from the Fall Fashionistas collection, Catwalk Queen. I suppose you would classify this as a ‘ugly pretty’ color, but I seem to gravitate towards these murky mustard yellows and I think they’re beautiful. This is two easy coats.
These are my first two Finger Paints polishes that I’ve tried and I am really loving their formula for cremes so far. Both Cordur-Orange and Catwalk Queen were extremely pigmented, self leveling, and the polish rolled off the brush like buttah! Again, I only needed one coat for Cordur-Orange and I honestly could have stopped with one coat on Catwalk Queen as well. My friend that grabbed these for me said they were the only two left in the store, so if you can still find these I highly suggest you snatch them up before it’s too late!
The Fall Fashionista collection is only available at Sally Beauty stores nationwide, unfortunately it is not available on the Sally Beauty website. Finger Paints polishes retail at $4.99/each for a 0.5 fl oz bottle of polish.
