Today I’m showing you a polish that I’ve been excited about for quite some time. When Ji Baek (the lady behind Rescue Beauty Lounge) first made mention of the Firebird collection a few months ago the description alone for Più Mosso had me on the edge of my seat. Then when I saw the first released swatches for the colors a few weeks later I just KNEW I had to have it. I hardly ever pre-order polishes before they’re released but I just couldn’t risk Più Mosso slipping from my grasp. :-P

I used Sally Hansen Nail Quencher base coat and Seche Vite top coat for all swatches shown today. Clicking any of the images will enlarge them for you so can get the full detail of each photo. :-)

Più Mosso is gorgeous deep navy blue filled with bright fiery orange/copper subtle shimmer. It’s such a lovely combination and something I’d never personally seen done before. Indoors the shimmer is a little harder to view on your nails than it is inside of the bottle. Did I mention that Più Mosso is very very VERY highly pigmented? I barely needed two coats, and I now that I have this knowledge I’m sure I’ll be able to get away with one coat the next time I wear it.

I took a few photos with my imitation sunlight (aka – my camera flash) so you all could get a better view of the shimmer. In natural sunlight Più Mosso is even more amazing! You really need to see this one in person to fully appreciate it. ^_^

Here’s a macro with flash, I suggest you click on this sucker. ;-) You can see that along with the orange shimmer there’s a good smattering of pink shimmer mixed right on in there. *faints*

Final Thoughts:

Man, do I looooove fall colors… And Più Mosso is my kind of fall color! Dark, brooding, but with something special. In this case it’s the gorgeous subtle shimmer that pops out to say “hello!” when I’m out and about. The RBL formula has yet to let me down, everything I own from them besides the jellies have been highly pigmented one-coaters. They’re definitely on the pricey side for me so it’s a splurge to buy them, but when I do take that plunge I am never disappointed. ^_^
