31 Day Challenge: Day 11 (Polka Dots)

Morning Everyone!

Today is the first day of the Patterns portion of the 31 Day Challenge, and we get to play with Polka Dots! I wanted to do something a little festive since Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. I decided to take Pretty Edgy by Essie and Free Love by China Glaze and create a Halloween polka dot mani.

Day 11: Polka Dots

I did two coats each of Pretty Edgy with Free Love as my accent nail. I then went used my dotting tool to fill in each nail with the opposite color. I’m still a n00b when it comes to dotting, but I think I did better this time than my first attempt a few months back.


I absolutely love the way this turned out!  Pretty Edgy is such a wonderful bright grass green polish. It’s a cross between a jelly and a creme and dries lightning fast! Free Love was acquired on my last dusty hunting trip (hence the weathered bottle) and it’s definitely an orange I can get behind. It has a gorgeous shimmer to it and glides on like butter. The combination of the two reminds me of Halloween decorations. ♥
