Black And White Challenge – Day 2: Black Base With White

Morning Everyone!

I’m back with Day 2 of the Black and White Challenge that I’m doing with the ‘Sexy 6′ (lol twitter). I gotta say that I’m not-so-happy with this one, I’m still looking for the perfect white nail polish for stamping. If you missed Day 1, you can see it [HERE].

Black And White Challenge – Day 2: Black Base With White

I started with 2 coats of one of my favorite blacks, Cosmic by Eyeko. It’s a gorgeous jelly black with rainbow holographic glitter that does NOT translate well to my camera, haha! Then I used Konad Special White with my Mash-11 plate for the star stamping over it. Get it? Stars? COooooossmic nail polish? YouseewhatIdidthere?

Here’s a macro shot, you can see the glitter in this shot a lot better.

This is so cute Rie, I love th stars, and I bet you are super tired form all the hours you are working, to be honest, you are amazing for taking on the challenge in the first place!

I love the huge white stars. You’re so rock ‘n’ roll Rie ! And as far as a great stamping white the only one I found that really is THE shiz is the Konad Special White. Just can’t go wrong with it.

love the idea, very cute! Pity the stars didn’t come out perfect, i struggle with the special polishes myself. The only type of polish that stamps nice for me is the ChG chromes!!! Cosmic looks gorgeous btw

Gorgeous Rie! I love that Eyeko polish, how the glitter is subtle but the macro really shows how awesome it is. Love it!

I use Sally Hansen White On for stamping and it works really well for me. I find if I’m stamping large blocks of polish I have to let it dry a little bit on the stamp before pressing it onto the nail to keep it opaque
