Bottle Shots: Glitter Gal Nail Polish
4Morning Everyone!
Happy Guild Wars Early Access Weekend for those that also pre-purchased the game like I did!
I’ve been waiting for this game to release since I first heard about them making it back in 2007! I was a huge fan of the first Guild Wars, and I’ve been enjoying all the Beta Weekend and Stress Test events for GW2 for the past few months. I might be a little quiet online for the next four days because I’ll be thoroughly lost in the wonderful world of Tyria. I’ve scheduled posts through next week!
If anyone else will be playing this weekend, come find me in-game! My Guild Wars ID Tag is Nymeria4326. ^_^
And now back to the polish! I posted nail wheel swatches of these Glitter Gal nail polishes a loooooong time ago on Instagram. I’ve yet to actually swatch them on my nails, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy the bottle shots! ^_^

NOTD: Sally Hansen Arabian Night
15Morning Lovelies!
I completely blame Stephanie from Imperfectly Painted for this polish finding its way into my clutches. She featured it on her blog a few months back and it was love at first sight. Then she told me where to buy it online and it was a done deal.
Sally Hansen Arabian Night

Sally Hansen Arabian Night is a polish from their Salon Nail Lacquer line that was originally released back in 2008. I liked polish back then but not the way that I do now where I actively looked at polish while I was out shopping. I’m kicking myself now because I would have had some GREAT polishes in my IKEA Helmer if I’d started my collection in those days.
Arabian Night is an absolutely gorgeous grape purple shade that’s filled with golden shimmer. Words cannot express how much I love it! It has a great formula and it was opaque in 2 coats. Just look at that macro shot, it’s bursting with golden shimmer goodness! ^_^
☻
Sadly, you can’t find Sally Hansen Arabian Night in stores anymore… And now that I think of it I really haven’t seen anything as amazing as Arabian Night from their Salon Nail Lacquer line in quite some time. The good news is that you can still find Arabian Night for a good price online at Cassie Cosmetics or their sister site on eBay.
I love discovering older gems like this. What are some of your favorite older/vintage polishes?
Review: Lilacquer Polishes Fifth Element Collection Swatches!!
9Allo Everyone!
I’ve got a swatches from an Indie polish brand that’s new to me to share with you all today. We’ll be taking a look at the Lilacquer Polishes Fifth Element collection! When I was first contacted by Lilacquer Polishes and asked if I wanted to review her Fifth Element collection I friggen JUMPED at the chance to get my hands on these babies! For one, I’m a gigantic nerd. And two, The Fifth Element is one of my absolute favorite movies of all time!
So basically if it’s a nail polish and it’s named after a fandom I love, imma need that polish son.
Cathleen, the owner of Lilacquer Polishes, specializes in duochrome polish and top coats. This was another reason I was quite interested in her collection. The Indie/Independent polish world is absolutely flooded with glitter polishes, so I love discovering Indie brands with something different to offer.
The Fifth Element collection is a set of 8 sheer and jelly (!!!) topcoat polishes that can be worn on their own or layered over another polish to enhance the duochrome effect. I’ll be showing you each nail polish on its own and layered over A England Camelot (a black creme).
For the full swatches and review, click the link below. I used Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base/top coat today.
Review: OPI Fall 2012 Designer Series Indulgence and Luxurious Swatches & Review

OMG y’all, these two polishes are absolutely fabulous! I used Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base/top coat for my swatches today.

Review: OPI Germany Collection Fall 2012
17Morning Everyone!
I’m here to show you swatches for the OPI Germany collection for Fall 2012! I really enjoy OPI’s regional themed collections, though I STILL need to swatch the Holland collection from this past spring. I’m a slow poke.
Anyway, this collection is made up of 6 creme polishes and 6 shimmers.
I used Cult Nails Get In On base coat and Wicked Fast top coat for all my swatches show here today.
Photos behind the jump! Speaking of which, do you all prefer pictures behind the cut when it’s a larger collection like this? Or would you all rather have all the photos out in the open without a photo jump?

Lynnderella Sweet Somethings For A Summer Solstice Collection – Swatches and Review
40Morning Everyone!!
Well I’ve been hanging onto this post for… a LONG time. I was provided with this collection by both Lynnderella and Leah Ann, and then… er… well… Some events took place that made me shelf this review for a month.
And if you don’t know what happened, then count yourself as lucky because it was a bit of a clusterf*ck.
Anyway, I decided to finally share these swatches with everyone because when it comes down to it the polishes are really quite gorgeous. And for those that are still interested in the Lynnderella Sweet Somethings Collection, I wanted to show you how the polishes look and how they applied. This post is HUGE. There are 13 polishes in this collection and this will be picture heavy, so you’ve been warned!!
I used Models Own 3-In-1 as my basecoat and Lynnderella Glitter Tamer and China Glaze Fast Forward as my topcoat for all the swatches shown here today. Now let’s get started!
