CbL - Behead The Drama Queen! 1

Hey Everyone!

My word, I have been sitting on these swatches for way WAY too long. I had lost my notes on them for months and just rediscovered them, just to find out that this shade has been retired from the CbL line. I’m sorry you guys, I really dropped the ball on this one. :( That being said, Behead The Drama Queen is an absolutely AMAZING nail polish. So if you can track it down you will not be disappointed! Let’s move on to my swatches now. ^_^

Behead The Drama Queen

CbL - Behead The Drama Queen! 2
CbL - Behead The Drama Queen! 3
CbL - Behead The Drama Queen! 4
Behead The Drama Queen is an absolutely gorgeous dark teal based jelly with light green shimmer. This combination of the shimmer against the darker base gives it a beautiful duo chrome effect that shifts depending on your lighting. The formula was amazing, I used 3 easy coats to reach full coverage.
CbL - Behead The Drama Queen! 5
CbL - Behead The Drama Queen! 6

I just can’t get enough of this shade. It also looks like a scattered holo in some lighting just because of how strong the shimmer/color shift is on the nail!
CbL - Behead The Drama Queen! 7

Let’s take a moment to admire the this pretty little thing in the above macro shot…

CbL - Behead The Drama Queen! 8
And here’s one last shot of Behead The Drama Queen with flash, because as per usual I swatched in the middle of the night where natural sunlight does not exist.

Hope you all enjoyed these swatches and my ‘vintage’ square shaped nails, haha! I’ve got another ‘From The Vault’ post coming up for you all from a different great indie nail polish creator in the near future. Stay tuned while I dust off this blog yet again. ;)

Other Colors by Llarowe nail polishes can be purchased exclusively from Llarowe’s website. The pricing ranges between $6-12 per 15mL bottle of polish. Colors by Llarowe nail polishes are also 5-free and cruelty free. :)

Cirque Arcus Collection Part 2

Happy Friday Everyone!

I’ve got the second half of my swatches from the Cirque Arcus collection to share with you all today. If you missed Part 1, you check it out by following this link right HERE.

This time I have the 6 glitter toppers to show you, and boy are they stunners! Let’s get right to it, shall we? ^_^

Le Invader

Cirque - Le Invader over Erda 1
Cirque - Le Invader over Erda 2
Cirque - Le Invader over Erda 3
Le Invader is a multi-colored square glitter topper in a suspension base. It’s SUPER dense, which is the nature of these suspension base nail polishes, so the dip-dap-spread method works best when applying this one. I technically only needed 1 coat layered over Cirque Erda, you really get a good amount of glitter on the brush with a small dip. ^_^

They might look a little curled but in reality, this layering was quite smooth! You can see in the macro that the square glitters lay quite flat. I used Gelous top coat and my normal ChG Fast Forward top coat for a super smooth finish.

Kaleidoscope

Cirque - Kaleidoscope 1
Cirque - Kaleidoscope 2
Cirque - Kaleidoscope 3
This one was an instant favorite, even though I can never spell Kaleidoscope correctly on the first try. ;) Annie said that this one has over 30 types of satin finish glitter, and I believe it! The layering possibilities for this are virtually endless! Easy application, 2 coats shown here over black. NO FISHING REQUIRED!! ^_^

Iris

Cirque - Iris 1
Cirque - Iris 2
Cirque - Iris 3
Iris is a topper that adds rainbow shimmer over any color. Now I only layered 2 coats of this over black, but now that I think on it I’ll definitely need to show you some other layering options for this pretty little polish! Easy and smooth application, no issues what-so-evahhh. The macro shot is to die for (in my most humble opinion ;) )! ♥

Lullaby

Cirque - Lullaby 1
Cirque - Lullaby 2
Cirque - Lullaby 3
Lullaby is an ethereal rainbow confetti topper made up of satin finish glitters in a pastel color palette.

I. FRIGGEN. LOVE. THIS. ONE!!

Super unique to my collection, and no fishing necessary to get a little bit of everything on my nails. Even the stars were easy to snag after inverting the bottle before application for just a minute or two (which I recommend doing for any chunky glitter polish). 2 coats over black shown here.

Magic Hour

Cirque - Magic Hour 1
Cirque - Magic Hour 2
Cirque - Magic Hour 3
Magic Hour is a rainbow confetti that consists of iridescent glitter in various shapes and sizes. This one also has a suspension base like Le Invader, and out of all the glitter toppers I had the hardest time with this one. I’m just impatient when it comes to suspension base glitters, and if you don’t wait between coats it WILL get lumpy/clumpy on you. This is 1 coat with the dip-dab-spread method. Glitter ratio is good enough that 1 coat over whatever base you use (black here) should be sufficient. Looooove the color and look of Magic Hour over black. I couldn’t see myself layering it any other way. ♥

Electric Circus

Cirque - Electric Circus 1
Cirque - Electric Circus 2
Cirque - Electric Circus 3
And saving my favorite for last, here is Electric Circus!! This one is made up of tons of bright neon satin finish glitters. WHAT IS THIS. I CAN’T EVEN… Be still my friggin heart y’all! This is 2 coats over black, and you best believe I’ll be layering this over EVERYTHING. And while I’m at it, please take a look at what my girl Marta of ChitChatNails did with Electric Circus on her blog. WITCHCRAFT. Sexy nail witchcraft. ;) I already plan to recreate that look very very soon.

Final Thoughts:

Glitters are not my favorite nail polish finish, but these 6 are definitely glitters that I can get behind and love. Really great formulas for most, though Magic Hour did give me a little trouble with trying to get a smooth and even coat. My picks for the glitter toppers from the Cirque Arcus collection are Electric Circus (DUH), Lullaby, and Kaleidoscope. ^_^

Purchase Info:

The Cirque Arcus collection can be purchased from their website, http://www.cirquecolors.com/. The polishes retail at $13.00 – 15.00 per .45 fl oz bottle of polish, and she does offer international shipping! You can also view her list of international stockists [HERE].

Cirque nail lacquer is 3-Free, which means it does not contain toluene, formaldehyde and dibutyl phthalate (DBP). Each bottle contains high quality essential oils, such as lavender and clary sage, to lend your hands a subtle scent after the polish dries.

You can also follow Cirque on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. ^_^

Here’s how it works:

- First you pick your subscription level. Your options are Super, Mega, and Ultra (which I will be showing you).

- Fill out a preferences questionnaire.

- profit. ALL THE NAIL POLISH MONTHLY ;)

And yoinked straight from the subscription info page:

GlitterDaze Ultra Daze Subscription Box for June

Here’s a photo of the box that my June Ultra subscription arrived in. Nothing too fancy, but the initialed little bow on top was a nice touch. ^_^
Glitter Daze Ultra Subscription Box - 2
And my individually wrapped goodies! I love this, definitely made me feel like it was my birthday or Christmas haha!

Glitter Daze Ultra Subscription Box - 4

GlitterDaze Cuticle Stick – Peony Scented

First thing I opened was the GlitterDaze cuticle stick. This one is peony scented, not my favorite sent since I’m not a fan of floral scents and this peony scent is pretty strong. At least to me is was strong! I did try it on my right hand in the name of science and it was moisturizing without leaving my skin oily, and easy to use. I will probably end up donating this cuticle stick to a friend though since I can’t really see myself ever using it with that scent. :P
Glitter Daze Ultra Subscription Box - 5
And next up is this cute little key chain with a glittery blinged out leopard print!
Glitter Daze Ultra Subscription Box - 6
Now to the super goodies, GlitterDaze Reloaded and American Royalty. Not shown here (but you can see it in the very first picture at the start of this post) is the mini bottle of Super Smooth QuickDry Keratin Top Coat that I received with this subscription box. Super Smooth is a keratin based top coat that is supposed to strengthen your nails. My little info card mentions that is DOES contain Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and cautions not to get it on your skin.

Glitter Daze Reloaded - 4

GlitterDaze – Reloaded

Get the perfect colorful paint splattered look on your nails! Reloaded is full of black and multicolored matte shredded glitter, as well as colorful large neon glitters all in a slightly tinted clear base!

Reloaded is a suspension based glitter that can use used to layer over virtually any polish! It’s thiiiiiiiiick though so you want to make sure that your base polish is completely dry before you use it to layer. My issue may have also been the mini bottle because the brush on it was fairly wide for my narrow nails and with soft bristles, making it a hard to control how much was on the brush when I applied it to the nail. It’s a dense glitter though so only 1 coat was needed with the dab-n-spread method, shown here is 1 coat of Reloaded over Takko Lacquer The Electric Apple: NYC. I LOVE the semi-translucent hex glitter!

My main problem was when I tried to use the Super Smooth QuickDry Keratin Top Coat over my nails. I thought I had given Reloaded enough time to dry (a few minutes) but NOPE I was wrong, and the top coat started to drag my nail polish! What you see above was my second attempt at this manicure, when I waited even longer… And still dragged my nail polish on my middle finger and slightly on my pointer finger. :( I think the combination of how thick Reloaded is plus how thick the top coat is was bad news bears for my manicure. Plus I had the same issue with the soft and wide (and slightly curved) brush on my bottle of top coat that made it almost impossible not to load it with too much top coat. It was a bit frustrating. :/

GlitterDaze – American Royalty

It’s that time of year again; backyard BBQs, pool parties, and get-togethers. Now you have the perfect patriotic polish to wear to all of these events! American Royalty is our little twist on the classic USA themed polishes; it has multiple shapes and sizes of red white and blue glitter in a light sky blue base as well as some gold accents to give it a little dash of class. Apply three thin and even coats, top with a thick and glossy topcoat!

And here is American Royalty, I really liked this one! It has a squishy creme-jelly baby blue base with what I like to call 4th of July confetti, haha! There’s gold shards, white bar and circle glitter, gold and blue tiny glitter, red shards, circles and bars, and some white stars thrown in for good measure! And the best part is that I didn’t have to fish for any of it! I got several pieces of each kind of glitter (including the stars!) on each nail with minimal effort. Shown here is 3 thin coats. I did use my trusted China Glaze Fast Forward topcoat this time though. ;)

Final Thoughts:

Well my first subscription box with GlitterDaze’s Ultra Daze option was a bit of a mixed bag I suppose. I absolutely LOVE American Royalty! I definitely plan to sport it on my nails some way for the upcoming holiday. And I like Reloaded, I just wish the brush on the mini bottle was easier to work with. I’m thinking if I add some thinner to Reloaded then perhaps I can get it to cooperate a little better. That or it may just be an issue with the mini bottles, and if I had a full sized bottle of Reloaded then perhaps I would not have run into this issue? :)

And if the cuticle stick had been any scent other than a floral scent I would be all about it. It’s great for moisturizing your cuticles, but I seriously hate floral scents! There’s no way Sana could have known that at the time since this was sent for review and I did not have the opportunity to do the questionnaire before subscribing that normally would occur. The Super Smooth QuickDry top coat and I are so far not the best of friends. I just cannot get a thin and even coat of that stuff and the way it kept messing with my Reloaded mani was rather frustrating. I’m also not so sure on it still including DBP when so many other options for top coats have eliminated that in their list of ingredients.

So at this point, I’m split 50/50 on likes and dislikes. But the nail polishes are my main concern and I did enjoy both of those, so anything else is not as important to me. With that in mind I would consider myself satisfied with this month’s box. And if I were signed up for the monthly subscriptions I would be eagerly awaiting my goodies for July’s box! Though I would probably downsize to the Super Daze subscription since I’m not a big fan of the brushes on the minis at this point. ;)

Purchase Info:

Again, there are three different options and price points for the GlitterDaze subscription box:

SUPER DAZE – $15/month; MEGA DAZE – $22/month; ULTRA DAZE – $32/month

Currently the GlitterDaze subscription box is available to residents of the US only. For further details and to subscribe, make sure you check out the Subscription Box Page!

Paint Box Polish Summer Heat Collection (Summer 2013)

Morning Everyone!

Today I’ve got three out of the five nail polishes from the upcoming Paint Box Polish Summer Heat collection! Pam (creator of Paint Box Polish) sent me these babies and I really enjoyed them! She created this collection after she was inspired by the bright and energetic colors of her Zumba classes. ^_^

Since I wanted a glass smooth finish, I did use Glitter Tamer and a thick top coat (China Glaze Fast Forward) for these swatches. :D

Paint Box Polish – Booty Pop

Booty Pop is a highlighter yellow jelly-creme hybrid with blue shimmer and black square and circle glitters. This one had a super easy to work with formula, which isn’t a simple feat with yellow pigments! I did 3 coats of Booty Pop by itself here. ^_^

Sweat It Off

Sweat It Off is a peachy neon creme with opalescent shimmer and black circle and square glitter. The formula on this one was a little bit temperamental on the first 2 coats, but after 3 coats it evened itself out. You will definitely need topcoat with this one to make it super glossy since it dries with a satin finish. Formula aside, Sweat It Off was a favorite for both my boyfriend and me!

Paint Box Polish – Everybody’s Doing It

Everybody’s Doing It is a goooorrrgeous neon pink jelly-creme hybrid with blue shimmer and black circle and square glitter. This one had a nice thin and easy to work with formula just like Booty Pop. I used 3 coats here, but you could easily get away with 2 if you have shorter nails. ;)

Final Thoughts:

I really enjoyed the nail polishes that I got to try from this collection! The square and circle glitters were very easy to apply, no fishing required! And I was able to achieve an opaque and finished look at 3 coats, which is not always the case with neons. Pam did mention to me that these layered over white make them REALLY pop so I’ll have to try that next time I wear them. ^_^

All three were great though, both Booty Pop and Sweat It Off got the BSoA (Boyfriend Seal of Approval) and I really loved… ALL of them, haha! I actually plan on going back to snag the two I’m missing from the collection (a neon green and a bright Tardis blue!) once it’s released. :D

Purchase Info:

The Paint Box Polish Summer Heat collection will be available for purchase from the Paint Box Polish Etsy shop beginning on June 26th. These will only be available as full-sized bottles, which retail at $9.00 per bottle of polish.

And the ever wonderful Pam was kind enough to create a coupon code for you lovely folk who read my humble little blog. When you enter NOMSSUMMER20 at checkout you’ll get an additional 20% off your purchase! This coupon is good for the next 30 days folks! ^_^

And for more updates on new collections and stocking info, you can follow Paint Box Polish on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (@paintboxpolish).

She Walks In Beauty + And The Moonbeams... 3

Morning Lovelies!

Adina sent me these lovely nail polishes a while back, and I finally had the chance to play around with them. Today I’ll be showing you two polishes from the A England Heavenly Quotes collection, And the Moonbeams… and A England She Walks In Beauty. Both can be worn on their own as well as layered over another nail polish. ^_^

A England She Walks In Beauty + And The Moonbeams…

A England’s She Walks In Beauty is an intricate mix of large and small rose-colored hexagonal glitter in a shimmering pale golden base that color shifts depending on the lighting and movement of your fingers. It’s so pretty! I used 3 coats for this manicure and you can just barely make out my VNL in photos, it doesn’t show at all in person. And The Moonbeams… is a sheer yellow-golden shimmery base filled with irregularly shaped gold glass flecks and glitter. I used it on my accent nail (ring finger) in this manicure and it was opaque enough for me after 3 coats.

This manicure has a supremely delicate and feminine look that I absolutely love! I immediately sent pictures of it to my pal Anna who is getting married next month and told her that this would be GORGEOUS for incorporating into her wedding mani (being done by yours truly :D )! She agreed. ;)

I showed you A England’s Sleeping Palace on its own yesterday, and here it is again with just 1 coat of And The Moonbeams… layered over top. I LOVE how these two look together! I didn’t think to take a photo with flash to see if the holographic nature of Sleeping Palace would shine through, but even without flash this layering is a stunner. :D

And for no real reason other than “I have a picture of it”, here’s the bottle shots for And The Moonbeams… and She Walks In Beauty. ^_^

That’s in for today everyone! The layering possibilities for And The Moonbeams and She Walks In Beauty are pretty limitless. I didn’t try layering She Walks In Beauty this time, but it’s definitely on my To-Do list for future layering projects!

Burne Jones Dream Part One

Morning Everyone!

I’m super excited to be sharing yet another collection from one of my favorite indie brands, A England. It’s no secret that I’m a bit of a fangirl when it comes to Adina’s gorgeous nail polishes. Not only are the colors usually beautiful and perfectly formulated, but the story she creates with each collection is masterful. Almost every collection so far has followed themes of Arthurian legend combined with Adina’s favorite artists, and the A England Burne-Jones Dream collection is a beautiful addition to the A England family. This collection is based on the legend of Briar Rose, aka Sleeping Beauty, as depicted by Sir Edward Burne-Jones in his four painting series. The story of Briar Rose is coincidentally one of my favorite legends, and a revamped version of Briar herself is featured heavily in one of my favorite comics (Fables) as well! So when I saw this collection for the first time and realized what it was about, I think I let out some sonic squeals that only a dolphin or dogs could comprehend. :D

The Burne-Jones dream collection is a small collection of five, and four of which I will be showing you today. The fifth one (named Briarwood) will be releasing at a later date, as well as two more stand-alone beauties that I will show you as Part Two of this post in the near future. ;)

Fated Prince

A England - Fated Prince 3

A England – Fated Prince

Fated Prince is a gorgeous charcoal grey scattered holo. A really superb formula that I have come to expect with all A England nail polishes, this was opaque after 2 thin coats. I love the depth of this color even in low light! Easily a new favorite. :)

A England – Briar Rose

Briar Rose is a bit of a chameleon. It appears to be a slightly more delicate berry fused reddish-pink in low light, but really brightens up into a much bolder version of itself with camera flash. Shown here is 2 coats, but you could get away with 1 with careful application.

And just like that, Adina has created yet another red nail polish that I have fallen madly in love with. Red is not normally my go-to color, but this beautiful red scattered holo with pink undertones has me wrapped around its little.. glass bottle? Anyway, Rose Bower was a breeze to apply and provided complete coverage with 2 coats.

Just look at Rose Bower with camera flash!! If this doesn’t scream permanent summer pedi than I don’t know the meaning of life anymore. ;)

Final Thoughts:

I really cannot stress enough how much I love Adina and her A England brand. Each nail polish is created with so much love and care behind it, that I’m seriously gushing with happiness about this Burne-Jones Dream collection. I cannot WAIT to see Briarwood, the one still forthcoming! I don’t have top picks this time because all four of the nail polishes that I have tried so far from this collection are truly amazing!

Purchase Info:

The A England Burne-Jones Dream collection can be purchased from the A England website, only if you are a resident of the UK. Due to recent changes in policy, she unfortunately can no longer ship directly from the UK to international buyers. But fret not! If you are outside of the UK you can check out her Where to Buy Section to find an international stockist in your local area! There are several in the North America alone like Llarowe, Ninja Polish, and Nail Polish Canada. And again, the ‘Where to Buy’ Online Directory section gives you quite a few options internationally.

Retail cost is £9.00 per bottle of polish from the A England website. Pricing varies per e-tailer, so check each individual stockist for their pricing and policies before purchasing. ^_^

Morning Everyone!

I’m super excited to be sharing a brand that I’ve been admiring from afar for a while. I’ve been wanting to try out Pretty Serious Cosmetics nail polishes for quite some time now, but I just hadn’t gotten around to snagging any of them. They were part of my pretty hefty “Must Try Eventually” list of indie brands. ;)

So when Kaz shot me a message asking if I wanted to try a few of her little gems I practically squealed! And then immediately said hell yes. ;)

She’s shared four lovelies from her Seriously Random collection for me to show you all today. Let’s check out my Pretty Serious nail polish swatches right meow!

Cybernetic

Pretty Serious - Cybernetic 1
Pretty Serious - Cybernetic 2
THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO… Haha, sorry I had to do it. The name of this nail polish reminds me of one of my favorite episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force with the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future. It was the great circuiting… :D

But I digress, this Cybernetic nail polish is a gorgeous blue, teal, and purple glitter mixture in a blue jelly base. It’s absolutely beautiful and so fun to look at! Application for this one was fairly easy, this is 3 coats for full coverage.
Pretty Serious - Cybernetic 3
Here’s a macro shot for you all. Cybernetic is easily one of my favorites from the bunch. ^_^

My Darlin’ Clementine

Pretty Serious - My Darlin Clementine 1
Pretty Serious - My Darlin Clementine 2
YAAAAAAAASSSSS!! So obviously I absolutely adore My Darlin’ Clementine. Orange is one of my absolute favorite colors and this nail polish does not disappoint in hue saturation or formula. 3 easy as pie coats for shiny orange jelly goodness with golden shimmer. This shimmer looks almost green before I put on my nails, but it’s definitely a golden hue (at least to me) after applied. ^_^
Pretty Serious - My Darlin Clementine 3
DAT MACRO SHOT. My Darlin’ Clementine definitely had the easiest formula to work with out of the four that I swatched from this collection.

Purple Monkey Dishwasher

Pretty Serious - Purple Monkey Dishwasher 1
Pretty Serious - Purple Monkey Dishwasher 3
The name for this one cracks me up. I’m looking forward to the facial expression of the person I tell that I’m wearing Purple Monkey Dishwasher on my nails. :P Purple jelly base packed with purple glitter (Pretty Serious Cosmetics informs us that this nail polish contains no actual monkeys ;) ). This one gave me the most issues with application. It’s a little thicker maybe than the other three I tried from this collection, and I must not have waited long enough between coats for this one because I had some cuticle/tip dragging issues on a few nails. I think the next time I wear Purple Monkey Dishwasher I’ll double my wait time between coats. I have 3 coats shown here.
Pretty Serious - Purple Monkey Dishwasher 4
Macro shot! I love how well the glitter coats up to the tips without any bald patches. ^_^

Grimm Demise

Pretty Serious - Grimm Demise 2
Pretty Serious - Grimm Demise 3
Another awesomely named nail polish from Pretty Serious, Grimm Demise is a gorgeous green glitter (alliteration win!) with a green jelly base. I’m a huuuuuge fan on folklore and urban legends, with the Grimm’s Fairy Tales being some of my favorites. Frau Totenkinder of the Fables comic series also comes to mind when I see this color and hear the name. ^_^ This is 3 thin coats of Grimm Demise, easy peasy application.
Pretty Serious - Grimm Demise 4
And of course a macro shot. I hate that this one came out so blurry! It looked so great in my preview window on my camera. I’m blaming the nargles.

Final Thoughts:

I’m pretty fricken pleased with my first nail polishes ever from Pretty Serious Cosmetics! The pigmentation for each of them is great and other than the thicker formula of Purple Monkey Dishwasher (still lol’ing at that name) they were all very easy to work with! My two easy favorites are tied between My Darlin’ Clementine (duh) and Cybernetic, with Grimm Demise in at a close second place.

Hey Everyone!!

I’ve got another nail polish from Scofflaw Nail Varnish to share with you all today. This time I’m wearing Scofflaw Flotsam & Jetsam. As soon as I saw swatches of this nail polish on the Scofflaw Facebook page I knew it had to be mine! I’m half asleep here so I apologize for the minimalistic post. ;)

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Flotsam & Jetsam

Scofflaw - Flotsam + Jetsam 1
Scofflaw - Flotsam + Jetsam 2
Flotsam & Jetsam is a gorgeous pale mint jelly/creme hybrid that is filled with purple and turquoise shards and turquoise micro-shimmer. So pretty!! Application was a breeze and it was opaque at 3 coats. Though I think next time I’ll try layering it over a creamy white or minty green underwear nail polish.
Scofflaw - Flotsam + Jetsam 3
Macro shot of awesome and win.

Flotsam & Jetsam by Scofflaw Nail Varnish is yet another great freshman release from the newcomer to the indie nail polish world. I’m really looking forward to trying more from her, and I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next! Have any of you tried Scofflaw nail polishes yet? If so, what are your thoughts? ^_^

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Koi Pondering Swatches and Review

3

* (The product(s) in this post were purchased by me.)

Hey Everyone!!

Lookit, two posts in… Well, less than a month! I’m working on posting more often. But I’ve been doing this weird thing called ‘leaving my house” on my days off from work. Puts a damper on my usual Netflix Marathon-n-Swatch… A-thons. ;) And there’s also this whole “I’m working almost 50 hours of overtime in April why did I do this to myself” mess that I got myself into. Soooooo, yeah. It’ll be a blessing no matter how many posts I manage to crank out this month. O___o

I did add a nifty little feature to my blog where you can check out my forever active updates on Instagram. You can see it to your right —————————————————————>>

Anyway, I have a new indie brand to share with you all today. Presenting one of my new pretties I picked up from Scofflaw Nail Varnish! She is a pal of the one and only NerdLacquer (who recommended her to us lacquer-heads on her Google+ page), and so far I am not disappointed with the two nail polishes I grabbed from her debut collection!

Koi Pondering

Scofflaw - Koi Pondering 1
Scofflaw - Koi Pondering 2
Behold, Koi Pondering!! I fell in love with this beauty instantly from the swatches that Scofflaw shared on her Facebook fan page before her premier release. As per my usual addict fashion, I set an alarm and used my Ninja Skills to snag this and one other polish from Scofflaw the day of her initial release. :D

Koi Pondering is a gorgeous blue jelly with orange, yellow, white hex glitters in various sizes and micro-shimmer. Application was super easy and it was opaque after 3 thin coats.
Scofflaw - Koi Pondering 3
Macroooooo time!! The shimmer in this one is really beautiful. And I love the fact that I didn’t have to go hunting for the glitter to get it to apply evenly on my nails. :D

Final Thoughts:

Koi Pondering by Scofflaw Nail Varnish has left me quite impressed! I hadn’t purchased nail polish in a long time, like months, until I discovered this brand. The combination of color and glitter in unique to my collection and I enjoy the professional level of her indie brand with the bottle and gorgeous label/font right from the start! Her prices are reasonable for an indie brand so if you’re looking for something new I would recommend giving Scofflaw a try! I already have my eyes on a few others of hers that I need to snag in the next restock.

Purchase Info:

Koi Pondering and other Scofflaw Nail Varnishes can be purchased at either scofflawvarnish.com or Llarowe. Prices and shipping vary depending on the site so check their shop policies individually. And for you folks not in the US, Llarowe does offer international shipping. ^_^
