Paint Box Polish Summer Heat Collection (Summer 2013)

Morning Everyone!

Today I’ve got three out of the five nail polishes from the upcoming Paint Box Polish Summer Heat collection! Pam (creator of Paint Box Polish) sent me these babies and I really enjoyed them! She created this collection after she was inspired by the bright and energetic colors of her Zumba classes. ^_^

Since I wanted a glass smooth finish, I did use Glitter Tamer and a thick top coat (China Glaze Fast Forward) for these swatches. :D

Paint Box Polish – Booty Pop

Booty Pop is a highlighter yellow jelly-creme hybrid with blue shimmer and black square and circle glitters. This one had a super easy to work with formula, which isn’t a simple feat with yellow pigments! I did 3 coats of Booty Pop by itself here. ^_^

Sweat It Off

Paint Box Polish – Sweat It Off

Sweat It Off is a peachy neon creme with opalescent shimmer and black circle and square glitter. The formula on this one was a little bit temperamental on the first 2 coats, but after 3 coats it evened itself out. You will definitely need topcoat with this one to make it super glossy since it dries with a satin finish. Formula aside, Sweat It Off was a favorite for both my boyfriend and me!

Paint Box Polish – Everybody’s Doing It

Everybody’s Doing It is a goooorrrgeous neon pink jelly-creme hybrid with blue shimmer and black circle and square glitter. This one had a nice thin and easy to work with formula just like Booty Pop. I used 3 coats here, but you could easily get away with 2 if you have shorter nails. ;)

Final Thoughts:

I really enjoyed the nail polishes that I got to try from this collection! The square and circle glitters were very easy to apply, no fishing required! And I was able to achieve an opaque and finished look at 3 coats, which is not always the case with neons. Pam did mention to me that these layered over white make them REALLY pop so I’ll have to try that next time I wear them. ^_^

All three were great though, both Booty Pop and Sweat It Off got the BSoA (Boyfriend Seal of Approval) and I really loved… ALL of them, haha! I actually plan on going back to snag the two I’m missing from the collection (a neon green and a bright Tardis blue!) once it’s released. :D

Purchase Info:

The Paint Box Polish Summer Heat collection will be available for purchase from the Paint Box Polish Etsy shop beginning on June 26th. These will only be available as full-sized bottles, which retail at $9.00 per bottle of polish.

And the ever wonderful Pam was kind enough to create a coupon code for you lovely folk who read my humble little blog. When you enter NOMSSUMMER20 at checkout you’ll get an additional 20% off your purchase! This coupon is good for the next 30 days folks! ^_^

And for more updates on new collections and stocking info, you can follow Paint Box Polish on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (@paintboxpolish).

She Walks In Beauty + And The Moonbeams... 3

Morning Lovelies!

Adina sent me these lovely nail polishes a while back, and I finally had the chance to play around with them. Today I’ll be showing you two polishes from the A England Heavenly Quotes collection, And the Moonbeams… and A England She Walks In Beauty. Both can be worn on their own as well as layered over another nail polish. ^_^

A England And The Moonbeams… and She Walks In Beauty

She Walks In Beauty + And The Moonbeams... 4

A England She Walks In Beauty + And The Moonbeams…

A England’s She Walks In Beauty is an intricate mix of large and small rose-colored hexagonal glitter in a shimmering pale golden base that color shifts depending on the lighting and movement of your fingers. It’s so pretty! I used 3 coats for this manicure and you can just barely make out my VNL in photos, it doesn’t show at all in person. And The Moonbeams… is a sheer yellow-golden shimmery base filled with irregularly shaped gold glass flecks and glitter. I used it on my accent nail (ring finger) in this manicure and it was opaque enough for me after 3 coats.

This manicure has a supremely delicate and feminine look that I absolutely love! I immediately sent pictures of it to my pal Anna who is getting married next month and told her that this would be GORGEOUS for incorporating into her wedding mani (being done by yours truly :D )! She agreed. ;)

I showed you A England’s Sleeping Palace on its own yesterday, and here it is again with just 1 coat of And The Moonbeams… layered over top. I LOVE how these two look together! I didn’t think to take a photo with flash to see if the holographic nature of Sleeping Palace would shine through, but even without flash this layering is a stunner. :D

And for no real reason other than “I have a picture of it”, here’s the bottle shots for And The Moonbeams… and She Walks In Beauty. ^_^

That’s in for today everyone! The layering possibilities for And The Moonbeams and She Walks In Beauty are pretty limitless. I didn’t try layering She Walks In Beauty this time, but it’s definitely on my To-Do list for future layering projects!

Barielle Summer Brights 2013

Morning Everyone!

I’ve another great collection from Barielle to share with you all today. This time we’ll be looking at the Barielle Summer Brights for Summer 2013 swatches on the blog. All five of these beauties have a great creme finish, let’s check ‘em out!

Blue Capri

Barielle - Blue Capri 1

Barielle – Blue Capri

Barielle - Blue Capri 2

Barielle – Blue Capri

Blue Capri is a gorgeous cornflower blue creme. This is 2 coats and it has great coverage. The formula for all of these is fairly similar so I’ll go over that later in my “Final Thoughts” section.

Pink Flip-Flops

Barielle - Pink Flip-Flops 1

Barielle – Pink Flip-Flops

Barielle - Pink Flip-Flops 2

Barielle – Pink Flip-Flops

I think I would describe Pink Flip-Flops as a baby pink creme, this is 3 coats to even it out. It’s not a color that I would normally gravitate to, but it’s still very pretty!

Lemondrops

Barielle - Lemondrops 1

Barielle – Lemondrops

Barielle - Lemondrops 2

Barielle – Lemondrops

Lemondrops is a fabulous bold yellow creme! Levels out at 3 coats, which is shown here. I’m always on the look out for great yellow nail polishes and Lemondrops does not disappoint.

Cosmic Kiss

Barielle - Cosmic Kiss 1

Barielle – Cosmic Kiss

Barielle - Cosmic Kiss 2

Barielle – Cosmic Kiss

Cosmic Kiss is a goooorgeous deep flamingo pink creme. It’s incredibly shiny! I posted a pic on my instagram before I added topcoat and it’s craaaaazy how shiny it was even then! This is 2 easy coats.

Sweet Addiction

Barielle - Sweet Addiction 1

Barielle – Sweet Addiction

Barielle - Sweet Addiction 2

Barielle – Sweet Addiction

And finally we have Sweet Addiction, a perfect turquoise green creme. This one was almost a 1 coater! I did show 2 coats here, though you could probably get away with 1 coat if you have shorter nails. ^_^

Final Thoughts:

The formula for all of these was really great! All but Pink Flip-Flops and Lemondrops were 2 coats, and I can accept the 3 coats needed for those two because it’s a yellow (a notoriously difficult pigment for nail polish) and an almost pastel pink. My top picks from the Summer Brights collection are Lemondrops, Cosmic Kiss, Blue Capri, and Sweet Addition. Soooo basically all of them except for Pink Flip-Flops, which is a great color but just not something that I personally would wear.

Purchase Info:

The Barielle Summer Brights collection can be purchased on the Barielle website. Their polishes retail at $8.00 per .45 fl oz bottle of polish, or $25 for the Summer Brights 5-piece set.

Review: Pretty And Polished Save The Dauphine Collection!

Pretty and Polished - Save The Dauphine Collection

Morning Everyone!

So I’ve been sitting on these swatches of the Pretty and Polished Save The Dauphine collection for entirely too long. I actually swatched these back at the end of January and edited my photos, but I just couldn’t find the motivation to actually type up my post about them. -_-

But better late than never I suppose! Unfortunately it looks like the collection was moved to a limited edition status while I was sitting on my thumbs, and only two of the four polishes from the collection are still readily available. :( But perhaps they’ll pop up some time in the future on another site’s blog sale! ^_^

I was actually INCREDIBLY pumped about this collection when Chels Marie first announced it. My mother literally named me after the late queen of France (Marie is my first name, Antoinette is my middle name) so I pretty much had to own this collection when it was released. HAD. TO. :D And once I had the polishes in my possession, they did not disappoint. Let’s get to the swatches (that I’m sure you’ve already seen before haha).

Hameau

Hameau 1
Hameau 2
Hameau 3
Hameau is a really pretty eggshell/off-white jelly-creme hybrid filled with iridescent shimmer and small blurple and green multi-sized hex glitter. This one was an instant favorite for me. It’s a little on the sheer side, but I only needed 3 coats to reach opacity. It was incredibly easy to apply.

Let Them Eat Cake

Let Them Eat Cake 1
Let Them Eat Cake 2
Let Them Eat Cake 3
Let Them Eat Cake, seriously you all do not know how many times I’ve heard this joke throughout my life. IT’S ALWAYS HILARIOUS. Truth is, the queen most likely never even uttered the phrase. But alas, it’s etched in history forever. That being said, THIS version of Let Them Eat Cake is not a lie (yaseewhatididthere..?) and it’s actually quite gorgeous.

This polish is a pale pink crelly (jelly/creme hybrid) filled with yellow, red, pink, lilac and white glitter in multiple shapes and sizes. LOVE. Again I needed 3 coats, this one was a little tricky to apply compared to Hameau but with patience (and a little bit of Gelous before adding top coat) I got everything to smooth out.

Louis Louis

Louis Louis 1
Louis Louis 2
Louis Louis 3
Louis Louis is fricken fabulous! I was not expecting to love this one as much as I did but oh my damn this color is fabulous! Louis Louis is a tarnished gold filled with tiny blue hex glitter and red round glitter. I’ve never seen anything quite like it! I used just one coat of Louis Louis over black to make the colors really pop. :D

The Diamond Necklace Affair

The Diamond Necklace 1
The Diamond Necklace 2
The Diamond Necklace 3
Last but not least, we have The Diamond Necklace Affair. Marie Antoinette just could not catch a break. This polish is a reference to the incident that placed blame on her regarding a crime against the Crown Jewelers. This polish is a glitter topper, so it has a clear base and it is filled with opalescent and light blue glitter in multiple shapes and sizes throughout. You can layer this over virtually anything and yield a variety of results. Shown here, I have 1 coat of The Diamond Necklace Affair over A England Galahad. I love this combination! But I bet this would look gorgeous over a darker nail polish as well. :)

This one was a little tricky to apply since it’s so thick due to the suspension base. The dabbing method worked best for me, but I had to be careful that I didn’t accidentally pick up glitter again with the brush as I was dabbing. No Gelous was needed before adding top coat for a smooth finish.

Final Thoughts:

Even with The Diamond Necklace Affair and Let Them Eat Cake requiring a little bit of patience to apply, I have nothing bad to say about this four polish collection. I absolutely love every single one of them, with Let Them Eat Cake, Hameau and Louis Louis being my favorites. But seeing as I share a name with their inspiration, I might be a smidge partial. ;)

If you can get your hands on the entire Pretty and Polished Save The Dauphine collection I highly suggest you pounce on them when you spot them out in the wild. :D

Purchase Info:

Pretty and Polished nail polishes can be purchased from their online store, www.shopprettyandpolished.com. Each polish retails at $5.00 for the mini and $9 for the full sized bottle. You can also still find Pretty and Polished on her Etsy Shop. Though it does look like the remaining Save The Dauphine Collection nail polishes have been slightly discounted. :)

Review: My Pretty And Polished Mathematical!! Collection Picks!

7

Pretty and Polished Mathematical Collection

Oh My Glob Everyone!

I was so friggin pumped when I realized that Pretty and Polished was making the Mathematical!! collection based off the show Adventure Time! As you may well know by now, my boyfriend and I are completely obsessed with the show. We even dressed up at Princess Bubblegum and Finn for Halloween! I set my alarm for the minute these got released and snagged 5 minis from the 8 polish collection. I’ll more than likely go back for the full sized bottles at some point because this collection is totally shmowzow!

If you’re not familiar with Adventure Time, I’ll try to briefly describe it to you. It’s an American tv show on Cartoon Network that follows a 14-year-old boy named Finn the Human and his yellow dog named Jake (who has magical powers) through the post-apocalyptic world called Land of Ooo. Some other outstanding characters in the show are: Princess Bubblegum, the ruler of Candy Kingdom; The Ice King, kinda evil but mostly just wants to marry all the PRINCESSES!!; Lumpy Space Princess, who is pretty much a lumpy valley girl; Marceline, the coolest sorta evil-but-not-really hipster vampire; Lady Rainicorn, Jake’s girlfriend (he’s the only one that understand what she’s saying…) who is half rainbow and half unicorn; and Beemo/BMO,  the most adorable handheld gaming system ever. There are TONS of other characters and lots of back-story. So if you enjoy reading check out the wiki and wikia pages! ^_^

Enough of my rambling, let’s get to the swatches! :-D

I’m Not A Banana!

Pretty and Polished - I'm Not A Banana! 1
Pretty and Polished - I'm Not A Banana! 2
Pretty and Polished - I'm Not A Banana! 3
First up is I’m Not A Banana! This one is based on Jake the Dog. The yellow jelly is a perfect match for his fur color, and I love the black and white hex glitter! This one was pretty sheer but I was able to build it to an opacity I liked after 4 coats. I didn’t have any issue with getting the hex glitter out of the bottle and it dried relatively quickly for as much as I used. I’ll have to search through my yellows to see if I have something similar to layer it with next time. Maybe Cult Nails Feel Me Up? :)

King Of C-C-Cool

Pretty and Polished - King of C-C-Cool 1
Pretty and Polished - King of C-C-Cool 2
Pretty and Polished - King of C-C-Cool 3
King of C-C-Cool is based on the Ice King and it’s so awesome! I have nothing like this polish in my collection at all. It’s a blue squishy creme/jelly base filled with blue micro-shimmer, tiny red square glitter, blue and yellow hex glitter, and white diamond glitter! I absolutely LOVE this one. I used 3 coats here and had no issues getting a good amount of each type of glitter on my nails. No dabbing necessary even though there’s so much going on! :-D

Lumps

Pretty and Polished - My Lumps 1
Pretty and Polished - My Lumps 2
Pretty and Polished - My Lumps 3
My Lumps represents the ever awesome Lumpy Space Princess, and is a sheer purple jelly filled with yellow and purple glitter shards and blurple micro-shimmer. This was the only one I chose to layer out of the group. It looked too sheer to build up on its own but in hindsight I believe you can get this one to opacity after 4 coats. Shown here is 3 coats over A England Guinevere. You can’t even really see my base polish at all anymore (except for maybe my pinky which I think I accidentally only did 2 coats of My Lumps :P).

This is another unique one for me in my collection. I loved the yellow flash in the purple! The glitter was fairly easy to place, just make sure you wait between coats so you don’t drag it. And a good top coat will keep the surface smooth.

Peebles

Pretty and Polished - Peebles 1
Pretty and Polished - Peebles 2
Pretty and Polished - Peebles 3
Peebles is named after Princess Bubblegum (who is often referred to as PB or Peebles in the show). This one is a squishy bubblegum pink jelly with fuchsia micro-shimmer and pink and yellow hex glitter. I looooooove this one, but I may be partial because PB is my favorite character in the show. :P I used 3 coats here.

The Young Hero

Pretty and Polished - The Young Hero 1
Pretty and Polished - The Young Hero 2
And lastly, we have The Young Hero! This one is named after Finn the Human and it’s another favorite for me in the collection. The Young Hero is a squishy white creme/jelly hybrid filled with blue and yellow small glitters, small blue hex glitter, light blue square glitter and light green hex glitter. LOVE!

I’ve been wearing this one for a few days now. The cashier as PetSmart stopped me dead in the middle of my transaction to gush about my nails when I had this on! She thought I’d put the glitter in there myself. :P
Pretty and Polished - The Young Hero 3
Pretty and Polished - The Young Hero 4
You all get TWO macro shots of The Young Hero because you’re that special to me, haha. That and you can see the green hex glitter in the first macro. ;)

Application for The Young Hero was a little tricky. It was hard to get it to level out to even coat on some nails but I managed to get it all under control at 4 thin coats. If you wait between coats or layer it over a white base (I didn’t do either of those things, haha) you might have an easier time of it. But it was totally worth the effort because this final result is effing gorgeous!
Pretty and Polished - Mathematical Bottle Shot 1
Pretty and Polished - Mathematical Bottle Shot 2
And here’s a few bonus shots of the mini bottles with the new Pretty and Polished labels. I love that each bottle has little colored polish drops that reflect the colors inside each individual polish! Very cute!

Final Thoughts:

Even if I weren’t partial to Adventure Time I would still give my picks from this collection an A+++++! Every single polish from the collection is entirely unique to my stash and they all have something great to offer. Not to mention, they’re just so dang fun! I think each one accurately represents the whimsical (and slightly off the wall) nature of the television show, and each polish is a perfect representation of the characters that inspired them. Dare I say that if I made a top 10 indie collection list for 2012, the Mathematical!! collection would be on that list for sure!

Do you need these? Get the math outta here with that question, heck yeah you need them! :-D

Purchase Info:

The entire Pretty and Polished Mathematical!! collection can be purchased from their online store, www.shopprettyandpolished.com. Each polish retails at $5.00 for the mini and $9 for the full sized bottle. You can also still find Pretty and Polished on her Etsy Shop.

31 Day Challenge 2012: Day 10 – Gradient Nails!!

9

Morning!

Today is Day 10 of the 31 Day Challenge 2012, and the prompt is gradient nails! I ended up doing two looks today because I wasn’t completely satisfied with the first one. I’m gonna keep this short and sweet because I’m off to see Silent Hill Revelation in 3D with my boyfriend and my pal Sarah! I loooooove the games and I’m pretty curious to see how this second movie compares to the first movie and how closely it relates to the game it’s based on, Silent Hill 3. :-D

31 Day Challenge 2012 Day 10 – Gradient Nails!

31DC2012 Day 10 - Gradient 1
31DC2012 Day 10 - Gradient 2
31DC2012 Day 10 - Gradient 3
I took my inspiration for both of these manicures from my Pinterest boards. Whoever pinned this one didn’t link it properly so I unfortunately don’t know where the original idea came from. :-( If anyone can point me to the creator of this mani, let me know!

I’m not super happy with my results on this one. The sponges I bought for my gradients were too squishy and not the same ones I’d bought last time. I think I still need to learn how to make them work best for me. -_-

Nail Polishes Used:
OPI Jade Is The New Black
A England Camelot
31DC2012 Day 10 - Gradient 4
31DC2012 Day 10 - Gradient 5
31DC2012 Day 10 - Gradient 6
This second look comes from the amazing Madeline Poole! My attempt is nowhere near as gorgeous as hers but I tried! ^_^

Nail Polishes I Used:
Essie Penny Talk
OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips
A England Camelot

Well that’s all she wrote for today everyone! Tomorrow we’re back with polka dot nails! Don’t forget to check out  Sam and Cris’s blogs to see their Day 10 gradient nails too.

Review: OPI Germany Collection Fall 2012

17

OPI Germany Collection Fall 2012

Morning Everyone!

I’m here to show you swatches for the OPI Germany collection for Fall 2012! I really enjoy OPI’s regional themed collections, though I STILL need to swatch the Holland collection from this past spring. I’m a slow poke. ;) Anyway, this collection is made up of 6 creme polishes and 6 shimmers.

I used Cult Nails Get In On base coat and Wicked Fast top coat for all my swatches show here today.

Photos behind the jump! Speaking of which, do you all prefer pictures behind the cut when it’s a larger collection like this? Or would you all rather have all the photos out in the open without a photo jump?

Lynnderella Sweet Somethings For A Summer Solstice Collection – Swatches and Review

40

Lynnderella - Summer Solstice Collection

Morning Everyone!!

Well I’ve been hanging onto this post for… a LONG time. I was provided with this collection by both Lynnderella and Leah Ann, and then… er… well… Some events took place that made me shelf this review for a month. :-P And if you don’t know what happened, then count yourself as lucky because it was a bit of a clusterf*ck. :-D

Anyway, I decided to finally share these swatches with everyone because when it comes down to it the polishes are really quite gorgeous. And for those that are still interested in the Lynnderella Sweet Somethings Collection, I wanted to show you how the polishes look and how they applied. This post is HUGE. There are 13 polishes in this collection and this will be picture heavy, so you’ve been warned!!

I used Models Own 3-In-1 as my basecoat and Lynnderella Glitter Tamer and China Glaze Fast Forward as my topcoat for all the swatches shown here today. Now let’s get started!

Zoya Pinterest Mini Trio Swatches and Review!!

13

Zoya Pinterest Mini Trio

Morning Folks!

Today I’ve got even MOAR Zoya polishes to show you all. This time we’ll be looking at the Zoya Pinterest Mini Trio! Earlier this month Zoya held a ‘Take Three Free’ Pinterest event where you could pin your favorite polishes from their Beach & Surf Collections. The top three most pinned polishes would be turned into a limited edition mini trio set that they would give away for free! There were only 2,000 mini trio sets created so they sold out pretty fast!

I’m a sucker for miniatures so I just HAD to snag these cute little baby Zoyas for my collection. Luckily I was able to snag one of the sets before they disappeared. :-D

I used Models Own 3-In-1 basecoat/topcoat for my swatches today.

Zoya Kimber

Zoya Kimber - 1
Zoya Kimber - 2
Zoya Kimber - 3
Zoya Kimber is a drop dead gorgeous bold magenta pink that’s filled with a strong golden shimmer. I absolutely ADORE this one. Kimber is so pigmented that this was an easy 2 coats. And for it being a metallic it had an easy formula to work with, no patches or balding/cuticle drag during application.

Zoya Zuza

Zoya Zuza - 2
Zoya Zuza - 1
Zoya Zuza - 3
Zoya Zuza, oh the name for this one amuses me. I know that Zoya likes naming their polishes after women but I’ve yet to come across anyone with the name ‘Zuza’ yet. :-D

Anyway, Zuza is a bright turquoise metallic foil filled with gold and silver shimmer. I had a few minor balding issues with this one, but they were easily remedied by waiting a few minutes before applying my 2nd and final coat.

Zoya Myrta

Zoya Myrta -1
Zoya Myrta -2
Zoya Myrta -3
Last and certainly not least, we have Zoya Myrta. Myrta is a saturated orange coral metallic foil with red undertones and gold/silver shimmer. Do I really need to say how much I love this one? ;-) I had the same slight balding issue as I experienced with Zuza, but a 2nd coat made everything perfect.

Final Thoughts:

I really am happy that I was able to snag the Zoya Pinterest Mini Trio while it lasted. I’d been eying several shades from the Beach & Surf Collections and this was a great opportunity for me to try a few things out. I love all three but if I had to pick a favorite it’d be a toss-up between Myrta and Kimber. ♥

The brush for the minis was fabulous. It was full length despite the mini size of the bottles and it was thin and flexible, my perfect style of polish brush. ^_^

Purchase Info:

Sadly the Zoya Pinterest Mini Trio was limited edition, and once the 2,000 sets that were created sold they were gone forever. :-(

That being said, Zoya has a new offer available to any of their customers. Through 6/25 you can now receive three full size bottles of any polish from the Beach & Surf Collections for $15 + free shipping! You can find out more info on how to redeem this offer on Zoya’s Blog. :-D

I took advantage of this promo too, so expect to see a review of Zoya’s Arizona, Wednesday and Tracie soon!! ^_^

Zoya Blogger Collection by Birchbox Swatches and Review

10

Zoya Blogger Collection

Morning Lovelies!

Today I’ve got the Zoya Blogger Collection by Birchbox to share with you fine people. This collection snuck up on me, the first I’d ever heard of it was randomly seeing swatches of it from another blogger on Twitter! 8O

This collaboration between Birchbox and Zoya was created by three different bloggers and voted on by fans. I don’t know where the heck I was during this whole process because I only heard of it after it was already on sale at the Birchbox website, hah!

Anyway, as soon as I saw the collection of bright summer jellies I just knew it had to be mine! Let’s take a look at these beauties. ^_^

I used Models Own 3-In-1 topcoat/basecoat for all my swatches today unless otherwise stated.

Zoya Belle

Zoya Belle - 1
Zoya Belle - 2
Zoya Belle - 3
Zoya Belle is described as a coppery pink with flecks of iridescent glitter. I love the pinkish-golden glitter that is present in this one! I used 3 coats.

Zoya Kate

Zoya Kate - 1
Zoya Kate - 2
Zoya Kate makes me feel like I’m taking crazy pills. On the Birchbox site this polish is described as being a grapefruit pink coral. This polish is totally leaning on the orange side of coral for me. O_O Every other swatch I’d seen for this one shows it as being more pink, but every single other swatch I’ve seen has also been on someone with a much cooler skin tone than mine. Maybe it’s my monitor? I don’t effing know, lmao.

So I guess Kate is just orange-ish pink on me. It’s still gorgeous, just not really all that pink on me. :-P I used 3 coats here, no topcoat and it’s still super glossy! You can see what Kate looks like on a cooler skin tone on Scrangie’s blog.

Coraline

Zoya Coraline - 1=2
Zoya Coraline - 1
Zoya Coraline is hands down my favorite in the trio. Coraline is a bright tangerine orange and we’re in love. :-D I used 4 coats here, and the VNL isn’t super visible in person. Again no topcoat here.

Zoya Kate + Zoya Belle

Zoya Kate + Belle - 1
Zoya Kate + Belle - 2
Zoya Kate + Belle - 3

This is 1 coat of Zoya Belle over Zoya Kate. I love this combination and how Belle just pops when layered on top of Kate. This combination brings out a little more of the pink coral hue in Kate that I normally don’t see when it’s by itself on my nails.

Zoya Coraline + Zoya Belle

Zoya Coraline + Belle - 2
Zoya Coraline + Belle - 1
Zoya Coraline + Belle - 3
And here is 1 coat of Zoya Belle over Zoya Coraline! This layering just glows! I think I’ll have to try this combination for my next pedicure. All I need it for the dang sun to come out for more than 20 minutes and I’ll hit the beach running. :-)

Final Thoughts:

I’m really quite happy with this little trio of polishes! I’m a sucker for jellies, so add coral and orange to the mix and it was pretty much a given that the Zoya Blogger Collection had to be mine. :-D The formulas for the jellies were medium thick, but easy to apply and quite buildable. You’ll want to wait a few minutes between coats to prevent cuticle drag though. I think it would be fun to do a jelly gradient with these three polishes, so I’ll have to keep that in mind for a future project. ;-)

Purchase Info:

The Zoya Blogger Collection is a limited edition trio that can be purchased exclusively from Birchbox. It retails at $22.00 for the set of three.
